Defending God’s Truth in Church Doctrine and Political History   –    Renette Vermeulen

(Continued from)

GOD DOES NOT DRESS WHAT IS FALLEN AND CORRUPT WITH SOMETHING ‘GOOD;’ HE IS INTO COMPLETE RENEWAL

In the context of the New Testament, Jesus will not ‘change’ this fallen dimension into a ‘better’ dimension.  Similarly, He does not change the behavior of fallen humanity into ‘good’ behavior while leaving them in their state of sin, bondage, and cursedness without Him, (Rom. 3:10-25.)  God is not into worldly restoration and religious church conversion, [adaptation; excepting church dogmas or to switch from one church to another.]  God is into sincere and personal renewal or complete spiritual transformation!  (Jn. 1:12-13; 3:3-5.)

Sadly, the entire world will not turn to Jesus Christ.  According to Jesus, “the way is narrow and few are those who find it,” because only those who willingly choose the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and follow Him wholeheartedly and obediently as His dedicated disciples, will be saved, (Mt. 7:13-14; 21-23; Jn. 1:12-13; Gal. 4:6.)  These are the believers that are spiritually “born again” through personal faith in Christ, (Jn. 3:3-5.)  The pinnacle of Godly Love is when we really love God and people enough to proclaim Jesus’ true Gospel of Truth.  It is only His Scriptural truth in the context of the whole Bible, which can save, redeem, and bless us in Christ, (Jn. 8:32.)

Of course we must take care of real, physical needs as well, (Jam. 2:14-19.)  We must actively stand for all righteousness, and withstand and never keep quiet in the face of evil, abuse, mayhem, and other forms of destruction, but “rather expose them,” (Isa. 1:17; Eph. 5:10-11.)

We must stay focused on the truth of God’s Word at all times, but we cannot live in a head-in-the-sand matrix here on earth.  If I did not study the truth about the hidden powers that steer political and church history, I would never have been able to understand the end of the end-time prophecy, which God gave first to Daniel in Chapters 7-8, and then to John in Revelation Chapter 13. The interpreting angel said to Daniel (12:4,) “...Shut up these words and seal up the book until the [very last] time of the end, when many will run to and fro, and knowledge will increase…”

Surely, this is the time we are living in, because knowledge on all spheres has never increased like now, and people have never “run to and fro” for truth and knowledge like now?  Because the vision of Daniel and John was for the time we are living in now, recent church and political history, and current global events are playing out the scenes of this combined Old and New Testament vision before our eyes.

“Many will run to and fro…” in Daniel, was what Jesus prophesied in Mt. 24:22-26,) “Then, if any man will say unto you, ‘Lo, here is the christ, or there; believe it not.  For there will arise many false christs and false prophets…  insomuch that, if it were possible, they will [even] deceive the very [Scripturally born again believers in Christ.]  Behold, I have told you beforehand. If they will say to you, ‘Look, there is the [Jewish messiah Jeshua] in the desert [of Israel,] do not go out; or ‘Look, [here is the new Charismatic christs of the church] in the inner rooms,’ [secret masonic societies showing great signs and wonders,] do not believe it”

God did not instruct us to physically riot against the dreadful ills of this world.  He instructed us to pray for those in authority and war in prayer against evil spirits in authority, while preaching His true Gospel to all those who are willing to listen, while also exposing unrepentant people on all spheres of life — especially Christians and their bad deeds, which blaspheme the holy Name and Kingdom of God and lead His people astray.

This world “is destined for the fire.” Only those who personally and wholeheartedly belong to the New Testament/Covenant of Jesus’ Spiritual Kingdom will escape the universal destruction of this world, (Rev. 20:12-15.)  Therefore, we need to focus on and “watch for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells,” (2 Pet. 3:10-13.)
