![Text Box: DARWINISM, THE LIE OF EVOLUTION:

Not Darwin’s ‘coincidental big bang,’ but God Himself created His universe very precisely. While Darwin and Hovind’s earth was originally nearly flat, as ‘mountains did not exist,’ Amos 5:8 declares that the Creator God of the Bible “made the cluster of stars called Pleiades and the constellation of Orion, and measured the waters of the earth in His hand, metered out heaven with a span, caught the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains on scales...” (Isa. 40:12-26; Mt. 10:29.)
Similarly, not Darwin’s ‘accidental evolutionary process,’ ‘biological engineering over millions of years,’ nor Hovind’s ‘genes for largeness that are gone somehow,’ but the Creator God Himself made every living creature on earth, and commanded them all to multiply strictly according to their kinds, or specific ‘genes.’
GENESIS ONE, VERSES ONE AND TWO:
‘In the beginning,’ according to Gen. 1:1, only God’s dwelling place heaven, and planet earth existed in God’s infinite expanse, the universe. Initially, according to Gen. 1, earth was the only planet in the never-ending cosmos of the ever-living God. Like God’s dwelling place, heaven, planet earth existed without the concept of literal time.
In Gen. 1:2 the Spirit of God hovered over this empty, chaotic earth, which was completely overflowed with water. Earth was dark; there existed no night and day; summer and winter.
As yet, there were no stars to surround the planet. No sun to give it heat and life, and no moon. Earth was dead; submerged in water and without an atmosphere.
There was no air, wind, clouds, mist, or rain.
Earth was a place on which not a speck of physical life could exist.
Strong's Concordance, #8414, describes the chaos on earth as follows, ‘A formless, chaotic mess, a waste, a worthless thing, emptiness, and desolation, for no purpose, for nothing.’ The Spirit Filled Bible explains, ‘This word first occurs in Gen. 1:2, ‘The earth was without form [tohu] and void [bohu.] Tohu and its rhyming synonym bohu are coupled to describe a scene of disorder, confusion, and lack of arrangement. However, the Lord brought order OUT OF chaos, as our present Earth testifies. Elsewhere ‘tohu’ refers to a howling waste, a trackless wilderness, a scene of utter disarray, and barrenness. Tohu suggests ‘sheer emptiness’ as opposed to order and balance.’
THE DARKNESS ‘ON THE FACE OF THE DEEP:’
Moses stated in Gen. 1:2 that the darkness on earth reached down to ‘the face of the deep.’
Kent Hovind, in his ‘creations science’ theories, refers to some commentaries that describe ‘the deep’ as ‘the primeval oceans that were initially underneath the earth,’ and they base their assumption on Gen. 7:11. However, Moses recorded in the Book of Genesis that on the third day of creation, the Creator God commanded, ‘Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear…’ and He called the dry land Earth… And the accumulated waters He called Seas…’
On the third day God created the Dry Land and the Seas, or the oceans, just as know them today.
Furthermore, The Deep was not a Hovind’s ‘primeval ocean,’ because Gen. 7:11 speaks of ‘fountains, not ‘oceans.’ ‘Fountains’ describe vast underground lakes, rivers, and springs – which most scientists believe, are in greater number, as these ‘fountains’ actually feed the vast rivers, lakes, inland seas, and swamps above ground.
In the context of the whole Bible, ‘the darkness of the deep’ does not refer to ‘primeval oceans that were underneath the earth,’ but to hell.
Jesus said that hell is a place of ‘outer darkness’ and eternal punishment, and it was created for the devil and his demons, (Mt. 8:12, 22:13, 25:30, 41.)
In Rev. 9:1-3, John described ‘the dark deep’ as ‘the bottomless pit.’
Peter explained this dark abyss in 2 Pt. 2:4. He wrote, ‘God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment.’ Phil. 2:10, also confirmed that on the Day of Judgment, ‘every knee shall bow of those in heaven, of those on earth, and of those under the earth.’
Thus, ‘the deep’ is a place of utter darkness, ‘the bottomless pit,’ which Job depicted in 10:21-22 as ‘the land of darkness and the shadow of death, a land as dark as darkness itself, without any order, where even the light is like darkness.’
The psalmist, building on Moses’ statement in Gen. 1:1, wrote, ‘You laid the foundations of the earth so that it should not be moved forever. [Then] You covered [the earth’s foundations] with the deep as with a garment.’ Then, referring to the flooded earth of Gen. 1:2, he continued, ‘The waters (that covered the earth’s crust) stood above the mountains,’ and pertaining to Gen. 1:9-10, where God created the dry land and the oceans, he wrote, ‘at Your rebuke [the waters] fled… they hastened away. They went up, [gushed, or thundered with tremendous force] over the mountains, they went down [or gushed] into the valleys…’
Referring to God’s covenant with creation after Noah left the ark, (Gen. 8:21,) he recorded, ‘You set a boundary that [the water] may not pass over, that they may not return to cover the earth...’ - Ps. 104:5-9.
It is therefore reasonable to assume that, where Moses spoke of ‘the deep’ in Gen. 1:2, he was referring to the ‘bottomless pit,’ which already existed in a time before literal time here on earth.
WHO ARE WE TO BELIEVE – EVOLUTION, HOVIND, OR THE BOOK OF GENESIS?
God commands us in His Word to ‘test every spirit, whether they are of God, because many false prophets [and teachers] have gone out into the world.’ – 1 Jn. 4:1; 1 Ths. 5:21.
So, if it’s not in the Book of Genesis and in the context of the Bible, it does not exist!
Moses explained exactly when and how God created literal time (or days) here on earth, and exactly what type of order and life God created on this physical planet during each literal day. We do not have to speculate whether dinosaurs walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, because, in the Book of Genesis, Moses explained exactly when and what type of life God created here on earth, and the entire context of the Bible confirms Moses’ account!
Thus we have to conclude that, if the teachings of Darwin and Hovind add to, twist, or omit Moses’ account of the Biblical creation, and if their teachings do not fit into the context of the Bible, we have to do with a strange, dangerous spirit!
WHO IS KENT HOVIND AND WHAT DOES HE ACTUALLY TEACH?
High school ‘science’ teacher and well-know preacher, Kent Hovind, has taken the Christian world by storm with his ‘creation-science,’ strange, flat earth, and wild dinosaur theories. He alleges, ‘Dinosaurs were alive 400 years ago, and I have the evidence to prove that they are still alive today!”
Serious Bible scholars might choose to ignore Hovind’s many ‘unorthodox’ statements, which, untested, seem logical and Scriptural to many gullible Christians.
However, the number of Christians he affects necessitates a closer look at Hovind’s theories, and it is a Biblical commandment to test every spirit according to the contextual truth of Scripture.
While Hovind alleges that his theories prove ‘evolution a massive lie,’ we will see how he uses the lie of evolution to ‘prove’ his many fallacies. The truth of the Book of Genesis, the context of the Bible, and real scientific fact will prove that the many unbiblical and unscientific theories of Hovind, which he calls ‘creation-science,’ are based on the anti-creation religion of evolution. Hovind’s teachings and his so-called ‘proof’ are outright lies, but most importantly, they are distortions and omissions of, and additions to the Holy Word of God.

HOVIND TEACHES THE RELIGION OF ‘CREATION SCIENCE:’ AN ADAPTATION OF ISAAC VAIL, DARWIN AND BAUGH:
Hovind is a fraud and an extremely false teacher, and so, ‘Way of Life Literature’s Fundamental Baptist Information Service’ and many other writings warn, ‘BEWARE OF KENT HOVIND’S NEW EVANGELICAL PHILOSOPHY!’
Hovind teaches the religion of ‘creation science,’ [and yes, we will prove that it is a cultic religion, foreign to the truth of Scripture,] which is an adaptation of Darwin’s religion of evolution and the silly hydrogen theory of Isaac Vail and Carl E. Baugh. [Please note that many false religions, like Roman Catholicism, Seventh Day Adventism, etc., are all supposedly based on the Bible.]
Baugh alleged that earth was ‘encapsulated’ by a massive layer of ‘metallic hydrogen.’ Hovind changed that to a ‘double layer of ice,’ but kept to the ‘dinosaur’ theory of Baugh.
‘Baugh was the founder of the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, Texas, and host of TBN's Creation In The 21st Century. Opposed as extreme by ‘Answers in Genesis,’ he insists that the earth was created in 3987 B.C. and surrounded by a canopy of metallic hydrogen before the flood. Baugh believes the stars literally sing and that all dinosaurs were herbivores even after Adam’s fall.’ – [‘Realms of Faith, Christian Author’s Database.’]
HOVIND’S ABUSE OF SCRIPTURE LANDED HIM IN PRISON:
A contextual study of Scripture and just a little knowledge of real scientific facts, (of which evolution is NOT one,) discredits nearly all of Baugh and Hovind’s unbiblical teachings, from which Hovind made millions of dollars, and even built his own Jurassic-like Park.
Hovind is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for among other things, tax evasion. Many charismatic leaders follow his example, and state that the government ‘has nothing to do with their finances, because they answer only to God.’
Most importantly, one has to remember that these teachers and preachers did not work for that money in the first place! Through their non-contextual abuse of the Old Testament law, they extorted their millions from the poor, from widows, and from brainwashed Christians! Hovind also distorts, abuses, uses God-given Scripture, and gathered millions of dollars from gullible Christians! His answer-only-to-God teaching, by which he raises himself above question and accountability, is another incredible fallacy.
Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded, ‘Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars, [physical taxes, etc.,] and to God the things that are God’s,’ (Mt. 22:21.) And Peter wrote in 1 Pt. 2:13, ‘Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king… or to governors… For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men…’
THE MEASURE, BY WHICH WE TEST THE RELIGION OF ‘CREATION SCIENCE,’ IS MOSES’ ACCOUNT OF THE GENESIS CREATION:
Gen. 1:3 – God created the first literal day on earth:
On the first day of the first month, in the first year, (which was about six thousand years ago,) God gave His first creative command on this dark, flooded earth.
Moses described this wonderful day in Gen. 1:3-5, ‘THEN God said, ‘Let there be light…’ and God divided the light from the darkness… God called the light Day and the darkness He called Night. So [this] evening and [this] morning, [in which God created light,] was the first [24 hour] day…”
A literal day cannot exist in infinity. So, on the first day, God created light by ‘dividing the light from the darkness.’ He allotted a time-designation to the light, calling it Day, and a time-designation to the darkness, calling it Night. Consequently, God created literal time here on earth. However, the first literal day on earth was not the type of day we can identify with. The sun, moon, and stars, (the other planets,) did not exist, and so, this concept of literal time in the space between light and darkness is a notion that is incomprehensible to us, as we are physical creations from a different day in Genesis.
The footnote, S.F. Bible confirms, “This time designation, along with the numbering of the days… shows the writer [of Genesis] views creation as happening in the course of six consecutive 24-hour periods.”
Gen. 1:6, the second literal day:
THEN God said, ‘Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, [a space between the surface of the waters that covered the earth and the clouds above,] and let it divide the waters from the waters. Thus God made the firmament, [the heavens - the atmosphere and stratosphere,] and divided the waters which were under the expanse, [waters that covered the earth,] from the waters which were above the expanse… [God created mist and clouds.] So the evening and morning was the second day…

Many churches disseminate the teachings of Creation Science ‘teachers’ such as Kent Hovind as absolute Bible Truth. Creation Science has emerged as an ‘alternative’ explanation to the dinosaur-dilemma and traditional views on the Genesis-creation. However, this fresh and much needed discussion will expose the Alchemic, Darwinist teachings of evolution, which also support the totally unproven, and in fact, very unscriptural and unscientific theories of Creation Science. |

Darwinism or the theory of evolution is not scientific! Evolution is not even logic. It is impossible for a single cell to suddenly come to life ‘all by itself’ to ‘create’ itself into a complex organism such as a tree or a human. It is even more bizarre to believe that this non-intelligent ‘life form’ ‘evolved’ or created itself into millions of incredibly complex species. Then, after ‘millions of years,’ in which millions of species supposedly evolved into what they are now, they have never really changed or created even minute forms of entirely new life again. For even though rats, for instance, have been ‘evolving’ for ‘millions of years,’ they are still plain old rats. As in the case of the ’missing link’ between humans and apes, real ‘links’ between species simply do not exist. A sustainable dog-ape was never born. Under unnatural circumstances animals of the same species might interbreed, but that is as far as it goes. (Like horses and donkeys, which produce the infertile old mule!) Genes, which God has created, can never and will never change to form a different species, simply because God ordered it so! The real scientific fact is that from the beginning till the end of the ages, everything could and can only reproduce strictly ‘after their own kind!’ |
