‘THE FOLLOWERS OF THE WAY’ CONFORMED TO CHRISTIANITY

In conclusion we can say it is truly shocking to discover that within 31 years of Jesus’ Holy-Spirit outpouring at Pentecost, (by AD 64,) the pagan/Christian ‘god’ fathers of the Roman Catholic Church already began to impregnate Jesus’ body of believers with the cruel, religious beast of Christian religion.

To recap, it is necessary to understand that by impressing pagan/Christianized “church” norms and forms, and false church doctrine on Jesus’ first Followers of The Way, secret agents converted them to Roman Catholic Christianity, where they became known as “Christians,” (Acts 9:2; 22:4; 24:14.) This was never what Jesus intended for His spiritual, Holy-Spirit filled, blood redeemed body; the temple of the Holy Spirit. ‘The Way’ is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself; the Truth, the Way, and the Life, (Jn. 14:6.) He is the Only, Eternal Head, God, and Savior of His living, spiritual body of sincere believers.

According to Acts 11:26, “The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch,” and there, for the first time, they gathered together in great numbers. The small groups or the “called out assembly” known as the “ecclesia” that gathered together in homes, were absorbed by the concept and words “church,” “Christianity,” and “Christians,” which were written into the Bible during subsequent translations of the Scriptures. While many Bible scholars see the renaming of the disciple-followers of The Way, (calling them “Christians,”) as a necessary part of ‘church growth,’ the great significance of this historical turning point in the life of Jesus’ body of believers was that converting to church religion was detrimental to their spiritual health and eternal lives in Christ.

‘History of the Melkites’ online declared, “Antioch was one of the first cities to become a center of the Roman Catholic, Christian faith, (Acts 11:26.) The Melkites, or Byzantine Rite Catholics of Middle Eastern origin, are the descendants of the early Christians of Antioch (Syria)… Antioch was both a territorial and judicial entity. The Overseers, [harsh hierarchical church rulers that oppressed the people like prison guards,] held the government of the church [supported by the country’s monarch… These “bishops,” [a false office or church post and a replica of the true servant-’elderly’ of Christ,] were given the ranking order of "second only to the Seat of [Saint or Divine Pope] Peter" (in Rome)…”

If the sincere elderly, (replicated by the so-called ‘elders’ of the churches,) of the ecclesia (the gathering together of Jesus’ Followers,) renamed the disciple-followers of The Way, (or even if they passively accepted the “divine” new name of Roman Catholic ‘Christianity,’) it must have been because they did not recognize the satanic spirit behind the inventors of this new religion - which seems highly improbable.

Fact is, shortly after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Christianity - that deadly snake of circle church religion, slowly began to curl itself around the living body of Christ in a suffocating embrace, (Mt. 23:33.)

Feeding on the “souls and bodies of men,” (Rev. 18:2-5,) Christianity quickly grew into a giant anaconda that would swallow billions of believers during the millennia to come; deceiving, stealing, and luring them away from Christ, His Eternal Spiritual Kingdom, His true ecclesia or ‘called-out assembly,’ the truth of His Word, His completed atonement on Golgotha, and the power of His Scriptural, indwelling Holy Spirit.

In the centuries that followed this spiritual death conversion of the ecclesia, the whole ‘civilized’ world’s political acceptance of this Christian snake would dawn.

Most Protestant Christians, (Pentecostals and Charismatics included,) do not realize the disturbing fact that Roman Catholicism rightfully claims original ownership of the religion called “Christianity,” the concept and word ‘church,’ and the name ‘Christian,’ which they all Christianized from paganism by blending all their doctrines with Bible verses and passages.

All Christian churches are therefore the ‘harlot daughters of this mother church.’

Both Catholicism and Protestantism are all permeated with Rome’s pagan doctrines, false church hierarchies, idolatrous church buildings as “the house of god,” (Acts 7:48; 17:24,) and everything else that pertain to this “mother of harlots and of the abominations of the earth.”

It is to the millions of blind captives in these Christian churches that God calls in Rev. 18:4, “Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins and lest you receive of her plagues…”
