HOW CAN CULT KILLERS DESTROY LIFE AND LIMB, AS WELL AS ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN, WITH THE CONSENT OF THEIR FOLLOWERS?We think about cult murderers only as specific people in history. However, everyone who leads people away from the Truth of God's Word, leads them away from Jesus The Truth and the Word of God. In this way, false teachers have and still are spiritually murdering billions of believers, who believe and follow them wholeheartedly. In essence, none of them were and are less dangerous than the two cult killers discussed in this article. In the ‘Killer-Cult’ series on ‘Crime and Investigation’ channel, the producers painted a horrible but realistic picture of notorious cult leaders such as Jim Jones, and Ex-Seventh Day Adventist David Koresh. Wikipedia wrote, “In 1952, Jim Jones… witnessed a faith healing at the Baptist Church. He observed that it attracted people and their money and concluded that, with financial resources from such healings, he could accomplish his social goals… Jones organized a mammoth religious convention… inviting [Pentecostal Oneness or false Jesus Only] pastor William Branham… highly revered by such as Oral Roberts and Billy Graham… Jones then began his own church, The Peoples Temple… By the 1970s, Jones… [assumed the role of God’s “final god-man prophet,” and] rejected “The Letter That Killeth:” all Bible truth. He began preaching that he was the reincarnation of Gandhi and Father Devine, [Father God in heaven,] as well as Jesus of Nazareth, Gautama Buddha, and Vladimir Lenin…” This great antichrist also engaged in sexual relations with both male and female followers. And among his many other crimes, he also ordered his armed guards to assassinate those like congressman Leo Ryan, who chose to leave “Jonestown.” What kind of evil possessed and controlled this satanic madman — and what power of deception did he unleash upon the many people he led into eternal destruction with Him? Jesus warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, “The coming of the lawless one [who does not revere the Truth of God’s Word and the Real Holy Spirit of the Bible above all else,] is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who PERISH, because they did not [choose to] receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. For this reason they will receive STRONG DELUSION, that they should believe the lie, and that they all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Jones’ followers must have “quenched” the conviction of the Holy Spirit so such a degree that, also despite God’s many unmistakable warnings in Scripture, in 1978, Jim Jones incited 900 people to commit mass suicide.
Just as the psychopath murderer Jim Jones, former Seventh-Day Adventist Vernon Wayne Howell, the demon-possessed leader of the Branch Dividian, also believed himself to be God’s “final prophet” to this self-destructing world. He falsely assumed Jewish ancestry by legally changing his name to David Koresh. He also claimed Jewish royalty (after the royal house of old King David,) by making his surname Koresh into an anagram of King Cyrus the Great, calling himself “King of the Jews” or Jesus Christ Himself. What incredible blasphemy! Long before this point, but especially when Koresh revealed himself as the so-called ‘christ,’ everyone should have fled as far away from him as possible. If only they read the Bible for themselves, the Holy Spirit would have brought them to Jesus’ warning in Matthew chapter 24. He warned in verses 4-14 and 23-28, “Take heed that no one deceives you! [Be on your guard, watch out!] For many will come in My Name, saying, “I am the christ, and will deceive many… Then many false prophets will rise up and device many and because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures [in My Truth and real Holy-Spirit grace and power] to the end will be saved… Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive even the [born again beliers.] See, I have told you beforehand. If they say to you, ’Look, he is in the desert! do no go out; or, ’Look, he is in the inner rooms!’ Do not believe it…” However, as no one withstood Koresh with God’s truth but fell hook, line, and sinker for all his satanic lies, he also fantasized about setting up “a new Jerusalem” on the farm “Palestine” outside Waco, Texas. Just as the lunatic Jim Jones, Koresh also tortured his followers psychologically, physically, and openly claimed the men’s wives and little daughters as his sex slaves! He must have tried to mirror and personify Old King Solomon’s incredible adulterous, fornicating sin; teaching his followers that such filth is Godly and Scriptural! In 1993, Koresh, 76 members of the Branch Dividian, among them 28 children, died in the FBI raid on his farm as Koresh’s inconceivably abused disciples followed this false ‘messiah’ into eternity without the Truth of God’s Word, the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible.
Watching the unfolding of the satanic atrocities of these charismatic leaders, who seemed so sincere in the beginning, one cannot help but wonder how a man - a mere human being - could lead so many people into such great error; claiming their finances and wives, raping their daughters and their sons; destroying their families and souls; and eventually, robbing them of their mortal lives and their eternal salvation. Such devastating control over gullible believers, families, spouses, children, and parents mostly happen for the following reasons. · People generally underestimate the power of personal charisma and the genius of the deceptive spirits that steer those who abuse the truth of Scripture, the Biblical power of the Holy Spirit, logic, facts, spirituality, and reality. If people can abuse God and His Word, they are capable of psychopathically committing every other form of evil. Someone interpreted Jesus’ commandment in Matthew 7:15-20 as follows, “When they show you who they are, [through their constant fruit, don’t seek excuses for them,] believe them!” (Mt. 7:15-20!) · On top of that, I must emphasize the dangerous control of not only charismatic people, but especially the subtle control of underhanded, soft-spoken, so-called ‘decent’ people that come to us in the guise of God’s angels of light. Such people “seek to attain one’s end by guileful or devious means.” [Merriam Webster dictionary.] Do not be amazed at the cunning deceit of man; “Satan himself transforms himself into an angel” of light through them, (2 Cor. 11:13-15!) · No matter how narcissist control freaks present their trickery, their victims always fall prey to them by blindly accepting and tolerating their showmanship, perversion, and lies. Gullible, unconditional trust in humans mostly result in demonic control and ultimately, demonic infestation, should we choose to submit to false authority, (Mt 12:43-45.) Paul declared in Galatians 2:5 KJV, “[To such secret agents of Satan,] we gave no place by subjection; no, not for [just] and hour, that the truth of the Gospel [of Truth] might continue in you.” And he warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 KJV, “[...We must bravely embrace all truth, as the “Whole Truth” about everything safeguard us against deception. Should we falter in this,] strong delusion [will overtake us so that we] should believe the lie, and may be condemned because we did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” So, God’s Truth will never, never connect to any type of unrighteousness! · The insecurity of man and the fear of being alone usually bind people to dangerous abusers. Exploiting the human need for leadership, love, acceptance, safety, and company, all cultic leaders bring their followers so-called ‘New revelation’ to make them believe they, (the leaders,) are ‘special;’ they ‘hear constantly and directly from God,’ and are God’s divinely-chosen, especially anointed christs and gods. As “god fathers and mothers,” they have ‘unique truth’ and operate in complete control of the spirit world. God’s will never enters the picture, (see 1 John 5:14.) They always give the impression that they represent safety and prosperity. They pretend they can protect their followers and lead them via their divine escape route out of all the ills of this world. However, in John 17:15, Jesus prayed that His true disciples will NOT be taken out of the world, but be “protected against the evil one” to be God’s instruments that will glorify His Name, (Rom. 12:1-2.) · However, false leaders constantly indoctrinate their victims with false prophecies, so-called ‘new revelations,’ and uncontextual interpretations of the Bible, which, in disobedience to the clear commandments of Scripture, hardly anyone “tests,” but trustingly accepts as “God’s special revelation knowledge for His “super anointed church leaders,” (1 Ths. 5:21; 1 Jn. 1:1-4.) · Often, as David Koresh did, cultic leaders change their names and assume Biblical aliases such as ‘David.’ Speaking of which, let us not forget the ‘visionary’ Buddhist/Christian father of the cell-church system, ‘David’ Yonggi Cho, (scroll down on the webpage,) who used occult visualization techniques, among other satanic dogmas, to build the biggest church in Asia! · Cult-leaders always see themselves as God’s ‘final’ end-time prophets and saviors. This false perception of leadership eventually grows into the delusion that they themselves are not only so-called ‘mediating end time Moseses or Elijas,’ but God Himself “in the flesh!” As such, these blasphemers demand unconditional obedience and total submission to their so-called ‘final authority.’ Totally unteachable, irreproachable, and beyond criticism, they place themselves above questioning and accountability. It is amazing how many Scriptures evil people will find to twist out of context to back up false doctrine. That is why Psalm 119:160 distinctly declares, "The entirety [or whole, contextual council] of Your Word is truth and all Your judgments are forever.” Still, none of us are above deception and error; no fallible human has all the answers or is right all the time, (1 Jn. 1:8-10 KJV.) That is why Jesus constantly warned, “Be careful how you hear [or understand.] Beware of false prophets… Take heed that no one deceives you… Watch [and be careful..]” (Lu. 8:18; Mt. 24:4, 25:13; Mark 4:24…) One thing is certain, Satan does ‘NOT come EXCEPT to steal [God’s truth, His Word, and everything else;] kill, [cruelly murder the soul and body, Matthew 10:28,] and destroy [everything Godly and good,]” (Jn. 10:10.) But our Lord Jesus Christ came so that we “may have life, and have it more abundantly,” because His spiritual life reaches beyond the material into all eternity. There was only One perfect human being Who knew and understood everything: the Man Jesus Christ. Thus, God made us part of Jesus’ body, where we can minister to one another, and keep one another accountable, truly safe, and emotional healthy, (1 Pt. 3:15; Tit. 1:13, Jam. 5:16.) To this effect, Paul wrote to Timothy, “Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord… Be… a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth,’ [because] ‘All Scripture, [the entire context of the Word] is given by inspiration, [not word-by-word dictation] of God, and is profitable for… reproof, correction, for instruction in righteousness.’ (2 Tim. 2:14-16; 3:16.) Leaders are not excluded from these commandments. In fact, leaders are “more accountable” because they will have to give an account “before the judgment throne of Christ” for not only their own souls, but for every soul they abused and deceived, (2 Cor. 5:10.) Cults and cultic practices do not always end in literal mass murder or mass suicide. They do, however, always commit spiritual murder by robbing believers of their personal relationship with God the Father through His True Word, His Son Jesus Christ — and as a result, also of the real power of His Holy Spirit. Members of such systems often do not realize that the thief had robbed them of their salvation even long before he stole their dignity and possessions, as the unchanging Word of the Lord Jesus Christ states in John 4:21-24, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.” To teach us His Truth, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to guide us into “All Truth,” (Jn. 16:13.) If we reject His Truth and the truth about all other things, we reject the Spirit of Truth and eternal life in heaven.
WHAT MAKES A CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION, CHURCH, HOME CELL, OR ANY OTHER STRANGE CHRISTIAN DIVISION A CULT OR SECT?All lies and deceptions stem directly from Satan. He knows all that is good because God created him as a perfect, highly intelligent, very powerful, holy angel. He also knows everything that is evil, because he himself, choosing to become the leader of all rebellious angels and people, is the author of all lies, deception, destruction, theft, and murder. So, Jesus said to the very religious temple masters, “[You do not understand what I say, because you are Satanists, who are] not able to listen to My Word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you [always choose] to do. He was a murderer, [killing souls by twisting My Word] from the beginning… because there is NO truth in him. [Even if he speaks some truth, he always uses it to feed people his lies,”] (Jn. 8:43-44.) Therefore, this dark dual or good and bad character with the original debased mind that has made for himself, is the perfect religionist and theologian, (Ezk. 28:14.) (Religion with its theological (man made) teachings can be anything: Hinduism, Buddhism, Satanism, Christianity... In short, religion is everything that hides a godless heart and a personal agenda behind a pretence of godliness, but never personally submits to the Omnipotent, Omnipresent Lordship and Scriptural Authority of the God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ.) Satan the great theologian also heads all religious people who mix truth with lies, in particular, the Pharisaical church leaders from all denominations. They are set on making fake disciples for “christ” through their bogus control of the many schisms of Christianity. They pretend to be ‘angels of light,’ but they merely use the Bible to get to the hearts, minds, pockets, time, and eternal lives of Jesus’ blood-redeemed souls. Such fake leaders are, in fact, totally sold out to Satan. As a result, we can safely say, if there were no Satanically inspired church doctrines, norms and forms, and all the believers of Christ kept to the real truth of God’s contextual Word, the Bible, (Who is actually the Lord Jesus Christ Himself,) there would never have been any denominational divisions; despotically housing Christianity in their pagan, Christianized church buildings as the ‘house of God.’ (Read the truth about their church buildings in Acts 7:44-50; 17:24; and compare it to 1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:15-20.) · According to the contextual truth of God’s Word, all denominations (or divisions) of the Christendom, (which were all birthed by their mother that great Roman Catholic harlot who also morphed into Protestantism, Revelation chapters 17-18:4,) are indeed great cults and sects, who fundamentally belong to their father the devil, not to the Holy Truth, the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible. So, Jesus said, “...If you abide in My Word, [not in your many false interpretations of the Bible,] you are truly My disciples… If you love Me, keep My [New Testament Covenant, Moral Law] commandments. A New [Covenant and Moral Law; the Only law of the New Testament,] I give unto you, that you love one another [in deed and truth…] By this all will know that you are My disciples...” (Jn. 8:31; 14:15; 13:34.) · Defining the following according to the church system, we can say: 1) A sect is “a religious group with beliefs and practices at variance with those from established main religious groups [such as Roman Catholicism, her equally idolatrous Protestant daughters, and their many other Christian schisms such as Jehovah’s Witnesses, etcetera.]” 2) A cult is “a system of religious beliefs,” encapsulated by an informal belief system, which is not recognized by established, state registered religions, [such as Catholicism, Calvinism, Lutherism, etcetera.] This is so, because cults are, [in the opinion of all state registered sects,] “misguided, unorthodox, extremist, false, and directed by a charismatic, authoritarian leader.” [Thesaurus.] · BUT BY GOD’S DEFINITION, WE CAN SAY: 1. Both cults and sects are those who are “at variance” with the Contextual Truth of God’s Word, and therefore, in disobedience to His Real New Testament Covenant Word and His Only Inner Law; the Moral Law of Love, (Jn. 13:34; Gal. 2:21.) 2. Consequently, all sects and cults are enemies of God Himself and His truly blood-cleansed, Moral-Law abiding disciples. As Jesus declared though His disciple James, “[Spiritual] adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the [political-religious] world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the [political/religious] world makes himself an enemy of God…” (Jam. 4:1-10.) Yet, the tendency of politically recognized sects and cults, (even those who date back to the days of Jesus and Paul in the form of the Jewish Sanhedrin,) was to persecute and brutally murder Jesus’ true disciples legally, (with the support of the state, as Saul himself did before Jesus met him on the road to Damascus,) because those disciples dared to defy the status quo with the True Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Paul’s defense against the high priest Ananias before Felix, he said, (interpreted in the context of the passage,) “The religious establishment of the Jews, (which is a real sect and cult,) has accused me of preaching the Gospel of Christ, thus speaking against Jewish temple legalism and ceremonial ritualism. As with Jesus our Lord, they have charged me with sedition, instigating political revolution, and blasphemy against God. They cannot prove the things of which they accuse me. However, this I confess to you, that according to The Way, which they falsely call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and the Prophets [the entire Old Testament Covenant]. Only, that I do not live by the ceremonial precepts of the Old Covenant anymore, as I now serve the Lord Jesus Christ according to the spiritual, New Testament Covenant and the only law He commanded, the Moral Law of Love.” (Acts 24:1-27.)
IDENTIFYING SECT AND CULT LEADERS► Jesus reasoned with the temple priests but did not change them against their will. His demonstration of Godly love for His enemies irritated them to such an extent that they plotted to murder Him, (John 11:47-50.) But because the people esteemed Him as their Savior, (which threatened the authority of the Sanhedrin,) they insisted that Jesus be crucified on a Roman cross for high treason against Caesar; not for their accusation of “blasphemy,” “doing miracles in the power of Satan,” or for something like ‘robbery,’ which did not justify Roman crucifixion, (John 18:12-14; 29-38.) Pilate found no evidence to crucify Jesus as a political activist, but made sure that the world knew why he allowed the Sanhedrin to pressure him into crucifying Jesus. His inscription on the cross was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin: “JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE HEBREWS.” Jesus’ life and death actually demonstrated that God never commanded us to submit to dangerous, authoritarian leaders or to join them, (Galatians 2:4-5,) but to confront them where possible, (Ephesians 5:11,) and flee from them as they endanger our eternal lives, (2 Timothy 3:5.) Ephesians 5:11, “Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them.” Hence, there is no way to change the Pharisaic church leaders; the replica of the Old Testament temple that was done away at the cross, (Heb. 8:13; chapters 7-9; John 19:28-30; 1 Pt. 2:9-10.) Such leaders are very troubled people with extremely selfish, self-willed ambitions, masonic aspirations, and unscriptural ideas about life in general and about the kingdom of God in particular. It is not uncommon to find that they are plagued by pride, sick self-love, and sexual and other filth. Some even promote cannabis in churches ‘to enhance Christian spirituality! · Jesus’ genuine servant-leaders are extremely different from these masked bandits who try to replicate the old Levitical priesthood. Under the New Covenant, Only Jesus Himself is the eternal High Priest, (Hebrews 4:14-16; 9:11-15,) and His spiritual priesthood, like His spiritual temple on earth, consist of all true believers globally. 1 Peter 2:9-10 proclaimed, “[Jesus’ believing priesthood] are a chosen [spiritual] generation, a ROYAL [SPIRITUAL] PRIESTHOOD, a holy [spiritual] nation. His own special people, who proclaim the praises, [and Word of Truth] of Him who called them [spiritually and soulically] OUT of darkness INTO His marvelous light [through their rebirth through faith in Him...] ► Yet, all controlling cults and sects deceive their members to believe that they are ‘lost’ and ‘backslidden’ as soon as they leave that church or commune; losing the so-called ‘protection’ or ‘cover’ of its leadership, etcetera, (Mt. 7:13-14; 21-28.) [Jesus Himself is the Only real Cover or Protection of all His sincerely, Scripturally born again disciples of both genders.] · So, fear is the power by which these unscriptural clergies bind spiritually blind people to their grave deceptions. Their ultimate goal is to align themselves with God; calling themselves “christs, gods, and angels;” taking the place of Bible truth, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in the hearts, minds, and lives of the people, (Acts 10:25-26; Heb. 1:1-14.) How extremely evil is that! ► All cults and sects are into mind control. Remember, as soon as we choose to accept or believe a lie, a stronghold of deception is erected in our minds to steer our thoughts, beliefs, and actions, (2 Cor. 10:4;11-18; Gal. 3:1-5.) For instance, the Calvinist Dutch Reformed Church, as all other cults, make their members believe they are part of a ‘divinely chosen elect,’ and even the lost tribe of Israel.’ While everyone else is supposedly destined for hell, they, as all sects and cults, allegedly have the only way of salvation, because they are the only ‘true church’ - even the only “end-time remnant church” as in Seventh Day Adventism, the Jehovah’s Witness society, etcetera.
