Kingdom-now on earth dogma versus spiritual life in Jesus Christ

THE INCREDIBLE KINGDOM-NOW FORTRESS IN THE MINDS OF MEN

Jesus Himself taught His disciples, “The [true, spiritual] Kingdom of God does not come with observation… For indeed, the Kingdom of God, [not the Kingdom of Heaven, which is God’s dwelling place in the spirit world,] is within you.” (Lu. 17:20-21.)

Accordingly, Paul and all the other New Testament writers of the Scriptures focused on the inward, spiritual, and unseen Kingdom of God inside every sincere disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, Paul testified, “God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision, [the religious practices of the Old Testament Jews and the so-called ‘saving’ sacraments of churches,] nor uncircumcision, [not being spiritually circumcised at all,] avails anything, but a new creation,” (Gal. 6:14-15; Col. 2:8-15.)

It is, therefore, heart-rending to note that, after Jesus had “presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the [spiritual] Kingdom of God, His disciples, [as all Kingdom Now religionists throughout the ages who focus on changing this fallen world into a ‘good’ God-world instead of keeping their eyes on eternal life in heaven,] still asked, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the [physical, national] kingdom to Israel, [or to South Africa, Britain, America…?’]”

The more I study the truth of Scripture and see what men are doing with the Word of God, the more I cry out, “Oh, Heavenly Father, when will we accept the fact that the New Testament Kingdom, established by the blood–covenant of Your beloved Son, is spiritual? (Jn. 18:36.) We know as a historical fact that Only Your Son Jesus’ atonement and His resurrection from the grave resurrect us to spiritual and eternal life. Still, like Nicodemus, we are so well ‘trained in the law and theology’ - we so cling to our religious notions, dogmas and church forms, that either we cannot enter Your Spiritual Kingdom, or we cannot remain therein, (1 Jn. 1:12-14; 3:3-5.)

“We focus on and yearn for the things of this world, instead of living in the spiritual freedom of Your Son. We, the Scripturally, spiritually born again disciples of Jesus Christ, are the spiritual citizens of heaven and the spiritual embodiment of Your dwelling place here on earth, yet we seek the acceptance of the world and its many religious systems such as grand churches in the hope to find the acceptance of men!

“We continue to live as if life on this side of the grave and the things that pertain to it are all important, while this life is only a little link in the chain of all eternity. How long, Lord, will we grieve Your heart by yearning for a ‘spiritual house’ here on earth where God lives, accompanied by the ‘safety’ of a so-called God-controlled government and church clergy, as if ‘Christ had suffered and died in vain?’ – (1 Pet. 2:18-19; 2:5 & 11; 2 Cor. 5:14-17; Gal. 2 & 3.) How long will we overlook the incomprehensible truth that we, the truly born again disciples of Christ, are the real “spiritual house” of the Holy Spirit Who is living in us? (Acts 7:47-48.)

“And how long will we be like the disciples who saw You walk on water, yet reverently feared the religious ghosts and political storms of their time? How often are we like those who saw how You healed the Centurion’s servant at a distance, yet fled for their lives that night when the Jewish Sanhedrin arrested You? They saw how calm and fearless You faced Pontius Pilate, yet forsook You as You went on the cross. They saw how You called Lazarus from the grave, yet were dumbfounded by the sight of Your empty tomb! – [Gal. 3:10-14; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; 2:5; Rom. 12:2-8.]

“Oh Father, will we ever realize that the real commission Your Son gave His follower-disciples was to “go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing these [believing] disciples [in water just as You demonstrated and commanded] in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things that You, [our Lord Jesus and not false church doctrines,] had commanded?”

“When will we renounce our wayward churches and live as the blood-redeemed disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ; rejecting the abominable twisting of Your Holy Word and the blasphemy against Your Holy Spirit, which suit the many idolatrous church practices of our day? (Rev. 18:4.)

“How long will we literally fight Christian crusades and hold Christian inquisitions to force people to accept and follow You according to church religion to militantly ‘establish Your Kingdom here on earth,’ while You commanded us to heap up treasures in heaven by preaching the Truth of Your Word to a lost and dying world?

“Thank You, Father, that we only have to do battle for the minds (or thoughts) of man, because You have eternally and completely won the war for their salvation, redemption, and blessing! (Col. 2:8-15; 2 Cor. 10:4; Eph. 6.)

“Every time we are obedient to Your Holy Spirit; every time we declare the truth of Your Word, every time we pray in Your will; every time we do what Your Son had commanded us to do in His Moral Law of Love, You give us the immense privilege to ‘storm the gates of Hades,’ the place where the spiritually dead without You are incarcerated. Under the protection of Your blood-covenant and Your mighty, holy angels, and in the power of Your Almighty Holy Spirit, we do battle to rescue Your blood-redeemed souls because You have commissioned and anointed us to set them free by preaching and teaching them the Truth of Your Everlasting Word, (Mt. 28:18-20.) Thank you, Father, that the spiritual death in the minds and hearts of men will not prevail against Your Holy-Spirit led disciples, for ‘You Who are living in us, is greater than he that is in the world!’” - (Mt. 16:18.) Amen.
