THE KINGDOM-NOW CULT VERSUS THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST

THE INCREDIBLE KINGDOM-NOW FORTRESS IN THE MINDS OF MEN: 

It is heart-rending to note that, after Jesus had ‘presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible PROOFS, being SEEN by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the [spiritual] Kingdom of God, His disciples still asked, Lord, will You at THIS time restore the kingdom to Israel?’ 

 

“Oh, Heavenly Father, will we EVER accept the fact that the New Testament Kingdom, established by the blood of Your beloved Son, is Spiritual?  We know as a historical Fact that ONLY Jesus’ atonement and His resurrection from the grave resurrect us to spiritual- and eternal life.  Still, like Nicodemus, we are so well-‘trained in the law and theology’ - we so cling to our religious notions, norms and forms, that either we cannot enter Your Spiritual Kingdom, or we cannot remain therein. 

“We focus on and yearn for the things of this world, instead of living in the spiritual freedom of Your Son.  We, the spiritually born again disciples of Your Son Jesus Christ, are the spiritual citizens of heaven and the spiritual embodiment of Your dwelling place here on earth, yet we seek the acceptance of the world, and its religious systems! 

“We continue to live as if life on this side of the grave and the things that pertain to it are most important, while this life is only a little link in the chain of eternity.  How long, Lord, will we grieve Your heart by yearning for a ‘spiritual house’ here on earth, accompanied by the ‘safety’ of a God-controlled government, as if ‘Christ had suffered and died in vain?’  – [1 Pet. 2:18-19; 2:5 & 11; 2 Cor. 5:14-17; Gal. 2 & 3.] 

“How long will we be like the disciples who saw You walk on water, yet reverently feared the religious ghosts and political storms of their time?  How often are we like those who saw how You healed the Centurion’s servant at a distance, yet fled for their lives that night when the Sanhedrin arrested You?  They saw how calm and fearless You faced Pontius Pilate, yet forsook You as You went on the cross.  They heard You call Lazarus from the grave, yet were astounded at the glorious sight of Your empty tomb!  – [Gal. 3:10-14; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; 2:5; Rom. 12:2-8.] 

“Oh Father, will we ever realize that the ONLY commission Your Son gave to His follower-disciples was to ‘go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing these [believing] disciples in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that JESUS had commanded?’ 

“When will we renounce our religious norms and forms, and the abominable twisting of Your Holy Word, which suits these idolatrous practices? 

“How long will we fight Christian crusades and other ‘holy wars’ to ‘establish Your Kingdom here on earth,’ while you never commanded us any such thing? 

“Thank You, Father, that the only war we need to fight, is for the mind (or soul) of man!  And this battle is the sum of Your entire Gospel.”  – [2 Cor. 10:4; Eph. 6.] 

“Every time we are obedient to Your Holy Spirit; every time we declare the truth of Your Word, every time we pray in Your will; every time we do what Your Son had commanded us, we are ‘storming the gates of Hades,’ or hell.  Under the protection of Your blood-covenant and Your mighty, holy angels, and in the power of Your Spirit, we are doing battle for the release of Your blood-bought souls.  Thank you, Father, that the gates of hell in the minds and hearts of men will not prevail against Your Spirit-led disciples, for ‘You Who are living in us, is greater than he that is in the world!’” - Mt. 16:18.
